Biography

Violinist/Violist, Kristin Sayer is
an active chamber musician, orchestral player and recitalist, regularly performing throughout New York City's finest concert
halls, including: Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, Lincoln Center's Alice Tully & Avery Fisher Hall. She has performed
with the Roanoke Orchestra, New Englad Symphonic Ensemble, Canadian Chamber Orchestra of New York, Mannes Symphony Orchestra
& Mannes Opera Orchestra. Ms. Sawyer has also toured throughout Europe as both a chamber musician and solosit.
Although she primarily performs music of the classical genre, Ms. Sawyer has done cross over work with artists such as ADELE
& Kid Cudi. Television appearances include: The View, The Late Show with David Letterman & Mo'nique. Ms.
Sawyer holds a Bachelor's Degree as well as a Master's Degree in Performance from Mannes College. In addition to her busy performing schedule, Ms. Sawyer
is a faculty memeber since 2004 at the Great Neck Art Center, and maintains a private studio of talented young violinists.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Yeolim Nam began studying the violin at the age of eleven. She received
her primary training from the prestigious Sun-Hwa Arts school in Korea, where she received many awards, including the Grand
prize for the school's chamber music competition. In 1996, Yeolim was selected to peform for renowned violinist, Sarah
Chang and then was invited to accompany Miss Chang on her concert tour throughout Germany. This experience was filmed as a
documentary and aired by KBS TV Date, a Korean television show. An avid chamber
musician, Ms. Nam has spent many summers at various chamber music festivals, including the Umyeon Chamber Music Festival in
Korea and the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in Maine. Ms.Nam recently returned
from an orchestral tour throughout Stuttgart, Germany where she was selected to perform as part of the 'Festival Ensemble'
Orchestra concert series. Other orchestras she has played with include, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, New Haven
Symphony Orchestra, Mannes College of Music Summer Opera Orchestra, New England Conservatory Philharmonia Orchestra, and the
New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra where she served extensively as concertmaster under Joseph Silverstein. Ms. Nam holds a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts,
where she studied under Malcolm Lowe, the concertmaster of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She recently began her Doctorate
study at SUNY Stony Brook University where she studies with Phil Setzer, Philippe Graffin, Soovin Kim, and Pamela Frank.
Violinist, Lisa Casal-Galietta started her journey with the violin at age eight. As a soloist
she has played with small chamber groups throughout the Long Island and Ohio areas playing works by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.
Lisa has performed at some of the most prestigious concert venues such as Carnagie Hall, The Staller Center, EJ Thomas Hall,
Guild Hall, and at the Hampton Summer Music Festival. Lisa holds a Masters degree in violin performance from the University
of Akron where she was the founder of The Graduate Chamber Players and recognized for her high achievements in violin performance.
Mrs. Casal-Galietta's teachers include Alan Bodman and Linda Sinanian. Besides being the newest addition to the Belle
Arti Quartet she is also a member of the Aureus duo with pianist, Danielle Errico and are scheduled to give concerts throughout
the Long Island and NYC areas. Lisa lives on Long Island with her husband and is an active chamber musician, teacher and recitalist.
Sokol Nikaj, cellist, was born in Tirana, Albania, where he received his first cello
lesson at age 7. His mother, a well-known pianist in Albania, accompanied him through all stages of his career. A first prize
recipient at the National Cello Competition, Mr. Nikaj has also participated at the Summer Festival in Athens, Greece, and
studied under Prof. Gjovalin Lazri in Artistic Lyceum “Jordan Misja”. He received his Bachelor’s Degree
from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. There, Mr. Nikaj performed in such venues as Eckelshausen Festival,
Schott Verlag, Rathaus Mainz, and in Branderburger Tor in celebration of the 10th year of the fall of the Berlin
wall, under the direction of Mstislav Rostropovich. From 1999-2002 he toured Italy and Germany as a member of the Junge Deutsche
Philharmonie. Since arriving
in New York, Mr. Nikaj has appeared in chamber music concerts at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall’s Weill
Recital Hall, Flushing Town Hall, Steinway Hall and the Colden Center for the Performing Arts. He has performed as a guest
cellist with the Corona Trio and was Goliard Concerts’ 2007 Herman De Jong Memorial Scholarship winner. Earning his
Master’s Degree from Queens College in 2007, Mr. Nikaj was the winner of the Concerto Competition, performing the Haydn
Cello Concerto in C major with the Queens College Symphony Orchestra. His principal teachers include Julius Berger in Germany
and Marcy Rosen in New York. Currently
he is working for the violin shop Gradoux-Matt Rare Violins, LLC as manager of Gostrings. In addition to his active performance
schedule, Mr.Nikaj maintains his own private studio of cello students.
